June 6 - July 31 Art Exchange Exhibition: Cwmbran=Arlington:
An exhibition of the works of eight contemporary Welsh ceramics artists, curated by Llantarnam Grange Arts Center in Cwmbran, Wales, will be on display at Arlington's Lee Arts Center. As part of an exhibition exchange of contemporary ceramics, the works of nine Lee Arts Center studio members are on display in Wales through June 26. Melanie Brown, a well known teapot artist from Wales and a co-curator of the show, will give a curator's talk with Pete Goodridge at the opening reception on Friday, June 6 at 7 p.m. . Melanie Brown will be a visiting artist at Lee for the month of June, when she will give a master workshop on teapot construction. Lee Arts Center

The annual Welsh Heritage Week will be held at Villa Julie College in Owings Mills, MD about 12 mile from Baltimore.
Dates for Welsh Heritage Week are July 20 – 17.

The 2008 North American Festival of Wales will be in Chicago from 28 August – 1 September.

The annual Welsh language course CWRS CYMRAEG put on by Cymdeithas Madog will be held this year at Simpson College, Indianola, IA. from the 13th to the 20th of July.
